Sony Ericsson Satio

The Sony Ericsson Satio is the latest flagship mobile phone from Sony Ericsson. It combines many advanced features and makes for a perfect high-end phone. It runs on the latest Symbian Series 60 5th edition OS and features a ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processor.

The Satio formerly known as the Idou weighs 129 grams and has the dimensions 112 x 55 x 13 mm. It features a 3.5 inch TFT touchscreen which has a resolution 360 x 640 pixels and supports upto 16 M colors. It also has a accelerometer sensor.

The main feature of the Satio is its 12.1 megapixel camera. The camera has a xenon flash and video LED flash and can take photos of upto 4000 X 3000 pixel resolution. Other features include touch focus, autofocus, face and smile detection, geo-tagging. You can also record videos of upto 30 frames per second. The quality of the photos taken by the camera is excellent

The Sony Ericsson Satio has a wide array of multimedia features. It has a music player which can run MP3/WMA/WAV/RA/AAC/M4A formats. The Satio can also play videos of WMV/RV/MP4/3GP formats. However, it doesn't support Xvid and DivX file formats. Stereo FM Radio is also supported. The phone has an internal memory of 128 MB which can be expanded upto 32 GB with the help of an external microSD memory card. An 8 GB memory card is provided with the phone.

The Sony Ericsson Satio supports GPRS, Bluetooth, USB mode, GPS and Wi-Fi. It includes Google Maps which helps you navigate your location. It also includes a full HTML browser and RSS Reader. The phone also supports SMS, MMS, e-mails and instant messaging. The phonebook can store virtually unlimited number of entries. You can store Multiple Numbers Per Contact and have a separate photo and ringtone for each contact.

The Sony Ericsson Satio stores call records for 30 days. The phone supports speakerphone, vibrating alert and video calls. Other features include video streaming, 3D games, Youtube connectivity and much more.

The Sony Satio has a standard Li-Po 1000 mAh battery. It has a standby time of Up to 360 hours and talk time of upto 11 hours. Additional features of the phone include calender, organiser, calculator, document readers, flight mode, alarm clock, etc.

The Sony Ericsson Satio is available for £500 on Pay As You Go. It is also available on Pay Monthly contract deals starting from £25.00.
